Delete your AstroNova account

Last updated: July 8, 2026

You can delete your AstroNova account and its associated data at any time. Deletion starts inside the app — this page explains the steps, what gets removed, and what to know about subscriptions.

How to delete your account in the app

  1. Open AstroNova on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Profile / Settings.
  3. Choose Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion. You may be asked to sign in again to verify it’s really you.

For your security, deletion requests are verified — you may need to re-authenticate with Sign in with Apple or Google before the request is accepted.

What deletion includes

Deleting your account removes the personal data associated with it, including:

  • your account profile (email and sign-in identifiers),
  • your birth profile data (birth date, time, and place),
  • your saved readings and reading history,
  • coffee reading photos uploaded to your account,
  • notification tokens, and
  • other personal data associated with the account — unless retention is legally required.

What may not be immediately deleted

  • App Store purchase and subscription records, which are managed by Apple, not by us.
  • Records we must retain for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, or security purposes — kept only as long as required.

Subscriptions are separate

Deleting your AstroNova account does not automatically cancel an active Apple subscription. To stop being billed, cancel the subscription in your Apple account: Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Refund requests are handled by Apple.

How long it takes

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a different period is required or permitted by law. Some data may leave backups on a slightly longer, fixed schedule.
